Our Business and Supply Chain

Shurtape is a global manufacturer and marketer of adhesive tapes and related consumer and industrial products. We employ more than 1,500 people worldwide, with operations in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, Denmark, and China. Shurtape is headquartered in the United States and operates through subsidiaries globally.

Our finished goods are manufactured in Shurtape-owned facilities in the United States, China, Germany, and Mexico, as well as by external suppliers. While Shurtape does not manufacture goods in Canada, we do sell, distribute, and import products into Canada.

Governance, Values, and Policies

Shurtape’s approach to ethical sourcing and human rights is grounded in our core values of Believing in People, Fostering Stewardship, and Communicating Openly and Honestly. These values guide our commitment to treating people with dignity and respect across our operations and supply chain.

Oversight of our modern slavery and social compliance program is provided by the Executive Leadership Team, with policies reviewed and approved annually, and implementation supported through established management processes and functions. The Board of Directors and executive leadership are committed to maintaining an ethical culture and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Operational responsibility for supporting the identification, assessment, and management of modern slavery risks is embedded within relevant functions, including procurement, legal, and sustainability, with escalation to executive leadership as appropriate.

Our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics establishes expectations for ethical behavior for all employees, officers, and directors. We also expect our business partners — including suppliers, agents, contractors, and representatives — to uphold comparable standards of integrity and ethical conduct.

During 2025, Shurtape continued training for employees on the Code and on recognizing and addressing the risks of modern slavery within our operations and supply chain. Training is incorporated into onboarding and periodic compliance refreshers, with enhanced focus for employees in procurement, supply chain, and operational roles

Assessing and Addressing Supply Chain Risks

Shurtape evaluates risks within our direct operations and Tier 1 suppliers using Sedex, a global ethical trade platform. Suppliers and applicable Shurtape sites complete the Sedex Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ), which covers labor standards, health and safety, environmental practices, and business ethics.

Sedex risk assessment tools help identify areas of elevated risk. Where appropriate and based on risk, Shurtape may conduct announced or semi announced third party audits of higher risk suppliers. Identified issues are expected to be addressed promptly through corrective action plans. Failure to remediate serious issues may result in escalation, which can include termination of the business relationship and, where appropriate, notification of authorities.

New suppliers are informed of Shurtape’s ethical sourcing expectations during onboarding. Suppliers are required to complete a Supplier Human Trafficking Self Certification, confirming that they:

• Assess modern slavery risks within their own operations and supply chains
• Permit third party audits when requested by Shurtape
• Train management and workers on modern slavery and human trafficking risks
• Verify that materials and goods are not sourced from prohibited countries, regions, or entities

If modern slavery were identified within Shurtape operations, and where appropriate, we would work with relevant local organizations and authorities to support remediation and protect affected individuals.

Based on the information available through our due diligence processes, Shurtape is not aware of any confirmed instances of modern slavery within our manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, sales locations, or supply chain.

Effectiveness and Continuous Improvement

Shurtape assesses the effectiveness of elements of its ethical sourcing program through internal reviews and selected indicators, including:

• Supplier participation and data quality within Sedex
• Results of internal and third party audits
• Completion of supplier self certifications

Findings from these reviews are used to inform supplier engagement, audit prioritization, and updates to internal guidance.
During 2025 and into early 2026, Shurtape further streamlined its Ethical Sourcing and Modern Slavery Program to improve consistency of supplier data, clarify expectations, and enhance internal alignment across regions.

Key Risk Areas

Based on our assessments, Shurtape has identified inherent modern slavery risks associated primarily with the sourcing and manufacturing of certain raw materials, including rubber. These risks may include forced labor, child labor, human trafficking, and inadequate working conditions related to wages and working hours.

No critical violations were identified through Sedex SAQs or risk related assessments during the reporting period.

In accordance with the requirements of Canada’s Fighting Against Forced Labor and Child Labor in Supply Chains Act, and specifically section 11, I attest that I have reviewed the information contained in this report on behalf of the governing body of the entities covered by this statement.

Based on my knowledge, and having exercised reasonable diligence, I attest that the information in this report is true, accurate, and complete in all material respects for the reporting year stated.
