HICKORY, NC (August 2024) – Shurtape Technologies, LLC, an industry-leading manufacturer and marketer of adhesive tape and consumer home and office products, is proud to announce the acquisition of Preferred Finishing Technologies, LLC (“PFT”), a textile manufacturer specializing in fabric finishing and inkjet dye sublimation printing. This strategic joining of teams solidifies the nearly decade-and-a-half partnership between the two companies. 

Based in Blacksburg, SC, PFT is known for its innovative approach to fabric finishing, coating and sublimation printing. Since 2014, PFT has played a pivotal role in Shurtape’s supply chain, providing the matte backing for Shurtape’s industry-leading gaffer’s tapes. The company’s dedicated and experienced staff is the basis of PFT’s reputation for high-quality results, representing the commitment to quality and innovation that has been the foundation of their longstanding partnership with Shurtape.

PFT will become a subsidiary of Shurtape Technologies and will continue operations at the Blacksburg, SC, site. Management teams and employees at both PFT and Shurtape will remain unchanged for a seamless transition into this new chapter.
