Providing secure, easy-to-implement and more sustainable end-of-line packaging solutions: this is the objective of Shurtape Technologies, LLC, an industry-leading manufacturer and marketer of adhesive tape and consumer home and office products. For Shurtape’s 20th showcase year, it will join PACK EXPO International at booth N-4923 to exhibit its packaging solutions that address common case sealing issues — downtime, material waste, personal injuries, product damage and more — and deliver consistent, reliable and secure seals shippers demand.
PACK EXPO International will take place in Chicago, IL, from November 3-6, with an estimated 17,000 attendees and 2,600 exhibitors scheduled to attend. Shurtape will highlight its new sustainable product line on November 5 with Bradley Dunlap, Director of Product Marketing, as he presents Secure + Sustainable Innovation in Carton Sealing Technology on the PACK EXPO Innovation Stage at noon in the North Hall.
On November 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shurtape will participate in The Amazing Packaging Race, where university students from across the United States will race around the show floor to tackle challenges at exhibitor booths. The race is designed to highlight the creativity needed for a career in packaging solutions.
Shurtape will use PACK EXPO to debut its rPET Recycled Packaging Tape, made with 90% post-consumer recycled PET film. This tape, which can be used with ShurSEAL® Packaging Solutions, focuses on reducing virgin plastic use and driving a circular economy. The Recycled Series Tapes are designed to seamlessly integrate into existing packaging lines to deliver seals that are both sustainable and secure.
