HICKORY, N.C. (February 2019) – As the market for high-quality pressure-sensitive tapes in industries such as building and construction and electrical continues to grow, Shurtape Technologies, LLC, has expanded its Industrial/Construction and Electrical (ICE) sales force with the addition of a new National Sales Manager for the central region of the United States. The Hickory, N.C.- based manufacturer and marketer of pressure-sensitive tapes has announced the promotion of Territory Sales Manager Ed Aguilar to fill the role, and the creation of a new Shurtape Manufacturer’s Rep Champion Program to continue to drive momentum in this channel.
As National Sales Manager – Central, Ed Aguilar will manage the central states for the Industrial/Construction and Electrical markets, including managing buying groups and independent rep agencies. He will be tasked with achieving sales growth and continuing to drive brand recognition in newer markets, particularly in the electrical channel.

Ed joins Mike Czaja, National Sales Manager – West; Glenn Walter; National Sales Manager – East; Nick Baloun, Senior National Account Manager, and Eric Stone, Vice President of Sales, to complete the ICE sales team.
In addition to having Ed join the team, Shurtape has announced the launch of its Champion Program, which helps facilitate training, continuing education, and guidance for company directives within the Company’s network of sales agencies.
