Shurtape Technologies, LLC, Expands Industrial Packaging Sales Force

HICKORY, N.C. (May 2019) – Shurtape Technologies, LLC, a Hickory, N.C.-based manufacturer and marketer of pressure-sensitive tapes, announces the expansion of its Industrial Packaging – North American team with the addition of four new territory sales managers who are strategically placed to cover key growth markets, including western New York and Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas and Indiana.

Among the new hires are:

  • Brad Davis – Brad has more than five years of packaging expertise gained through his latest stint at Sealed Air Corporation, where he built specific experience in the e-commerce, 3PL and manufacturing industries. Brad will place primary focus on end-of-line carton sealing in the southern Ohio, southern Indiana and Kentucky areas.
  • Brock Byers – After graduating with a degree in Packaging Science from Clemson University, with an emphasis on materials, marketing and business, and then spending the first three years of his career at Pratt Industries, Brock brings a wealth of packaging expertise to his territory, which encompasses Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi.
  • Randy Krabbenhoft – With over 30 years of experience in the packaging industry, Randy joins the Shurtape team from SouthernCarlson out of Minnesota. His focus will be on strengthening partnerships in the Texas and Louisiana regions.
  • Kelley Wickert – Kelley will lend over 30 years of packaging industry experience – including nine years most recently spent with Sealed Air Corporation – to selling Shurtape packaging solutions, including ShurSEAL® automated and manual Packaging Solutions, to the northeast Ohio, western Pennsylvania, western New York and West Virginia regions.
